I’m Cameron Carson, a Visual Effects Supervisor and Compositor based in Portland, Oregon. I lead small to mid-sized teams, translating creative vision into precise, on-screen results. My work centers on thoughtful execution—where craft, collaboration, and clarity meet.

I was part of the VES Award–winning team for Outstanding Visual Effects in an Animated Feature (2023) for Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio.

Selected work includes Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, Shōgun, Righteous Gemstones, Fallout, Alien Xmas, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, 1BR, Jingle Bell’s Christmas Star, and Grimm, along with commercial projects for Coca-Cola, Nike, Kellogg’s, Cartoon Network, Farmers Insurance, Honda, Gatorade, and AT&T.

Alongside production, I develop tools and pipelines that improve efficiency and elevate quality, primarily using Python across Nuke, After Effects, and ShotGrid.
